The real power in using Gamma GenCat is its ability to generate unique catalogs from templates. Since there are several templates to choose from (and the list is growing all the time), you can change how your catalog looks when ever you want. By downloading new templates from the Gamma Burst website and regenerating your catalog pages, you can breathe new life into your store whenever you feel like it.

Templates can be either very simple or quite complex, but they will all work with the categories and items you enter. If a particular template has special instructions, such as preferred color schemes or requirements for images, the author will include them in the ReadMe file that comes with the template. If you want to see how a template will look before you build your catalog, there will always be a demo available on the Gamma Burst web site.

If you are a web site designer and you want to create generic GenCat templates for anyone to use or you have a special customer and would like to create a one-of-a-kind customized template just for that client, there is an online tutorial on the Gamma Burst web site that will guide you through the steps of creating your very own templates.
